What style of Martial Art is this?

    I know a punch, kick, throw, etc. is about momentum.

    What is the style of Martial Arts that trains you to use that momentum against themselves, but just deflecting, or reflecting them into a different direction?

    I would do it myself, but I'm sure most of you are better Googlameiser's than I am.

    Also, I'm really baked, watching tv, and eating Gen. Tso's chicken. :smoking:

    i dont know the martial arts style, but i am master at cooking gen tsos, that stuff is the sh it :D

    actually most forms of martial arts incorporate this ideal to some degree.

    but weebie is right, aikido is most famously known for that. Aikido has some sick joint-locking techniques as well

    Thats the stuff Steven Segal is known for. Well, that and a solid mullet....

    Judo is basically throwing them and using their momentum against them..
