Hey all I’m going to be growing outdoors this year I live in high humidity area, what strains or percentage (indica to sativa) would be the best to grow I read something about 50:50 or higher on the sativa side does this sound right ? Just don’t want to get Mold and have the buds ruined thanks Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
How long is your growing season? Sativas are airier and more spread out, so they don't get mold as much, but if the late season is when it gets cold and humid, you might just try for strains that finish early.
I live in Australia so my season is going to begin soon starts in September or early October and flowering outdoor should begin generally in March and finish around May or there abouts depending on how long the strain takes to finish flowering so would you say I could probably get away with a 50/50 hybrid where I’m living ? world of seeds has some good Sativas from around the world as their ads say ,see if you can match your outdoor temps to a county to your heat and humidity near your heat and humidity ,,,mac,,
Yeah, where you're at South African sativas would seem to be a perfect fit. Durban - Swaziland type strains.Thai strains, also. I can vouch for Holland's Hope as an indica dominant hybrid. But it's a short season variety, bred to withstand colder, rainier climates. Not sure how it would stand up to prolonged high temperatures.
