If I had to get back into gaming I may go for pc, but I don't feel like spending money on that stuff, it would just sit and collect dust in the end, Much rather spend my time, blazed and enjoying nature at anytime of the day. Like looking forward to that meteor shower coming up(cant think of name), But smoke a joint and look out in the sky about a week from now, no video game can provide you with this experience.
I use my computer for internet and music and that's about it, i don't need games on it and i can't afford a new one. If i want to play a game i turn on my xbox and chill in bed. I like the simplicity of consoles, i think they have a more classic feel to them, kind of like reading an actual book instead of reading one on a tablet. I don't understand why everyone thinks it makes rational sense to go out and buy a thousand dollar computer just to enhance gaming when i don't fucking need it. Better graphics, better frame-rate does NOT make a better game. Sure pc's are cool and technologically better, but do i need one? Hell no.
better graphics and a frame rate that is the same, if not faster then the human eye makes good games better tho . my rig costs about 1100, but i didnt buy all the parts at one time, i started out with a 500 dolllar computer and upgrade it when i can. after seeing the now current gen consoles sony and Microsoft have given us im very happy i made this choice. PC gets more releases, for better prices. not to mention any gaming computer doubles as the best home entertainment center ever. one of my 3 monitors is a tv and i have a speakers with a sub. for me to this was the most rational option. I need a computer for school, something to game on, and a way to surf the internet and way to entertain guests in my room. im one of the people that has already fully forsaken cable and trusts the internet to bring me all the entertainment i need. plus bitches love computers that look too fancy for them to understand
I would pick up the consoles for certain exclusives... But only if the consoles and games were on sale for a ridiculously good price. Other than that, I will stay with my PC.
I PREFER pc gaming 10:1 hands down. But since my PC went down right before this cross country move, I havent been able to buy a new pc. That was September 2012. Im now pretty addicted to a couple mmorpg on the iphone. I want a pc from cyberpowerpc.com so bad. Why wasnt i born rich, dammit?
consoles all the way. nothing like laying in bed all day with the shades shut, bong on the night stand and ps3 controller in hand
I like pc for the variety of games, mods, portability (I take my laptop everywhere anyway) and the fact that I don't have to pay for them. I refuse to play FPS games on anything but a console though. Aiming with a mouse is seriously just too damn easy. No sport in all those headshots.
I play on both console and PC, but I like PC better for solo games and console for when friends are over. Better FPS does Make the game better...
I am on the proverbial fence here. I like my Roleplaying games either on PC or PnP (pen and paper) but I want my CoDs and Battlefields on PS3. I use my tablet for angry birds and my kongregate account games. Sent from my M7 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
are you serious lol console aiming is 10x easier than mouse aiming. you do know that consoles usually have looser hitboxes, right? plus you dont even have to aim directly at the person, just aim near them then your crosshairs will snap to the person. try playing counterstrike on your pc and tell me that mouse aiming is too damn easy lol...
I have and it is. Magic fingers. With a joystick it's swing in the general direction, hope it's right, and adjust. With a mouse it's move directly where you need it to be and click.
The sport is in actually taking a shot before someone else blows your brains out. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Sure a mouse offers more capabilities with control and what not but everyone else has those capabilities too so I dont think its fair to say keyboard and mouse is "easier"... It just allows you to play the game without any auto aim restrictions that make the game cumbersome to play
In terms of actually playing a game, I really don't mind either way; it's still the exact same game, just with a controller/keyboard and mouse. Some pretentious dickheads might go on and on about how much better graphics might be on one than the other (when it's a really minimal difference). However, I like to invest a lot of time into my PC because I think it's a nice hobby. I think there's more of a connection between you and your machine if you take the time to manage and build it yourself! It's just nice to know the in's and out's. That and being able to torrent singleplayer games saves enough in a one year to buy a whole new console (if you wanted to).
you could buy a fairly decent entry level desktop for the price of this gen console and instead of paying for games put it in hardware.
I prefer consoles because it's just more fun to sit on the couch with the tv then on the computer thats how i feel its just more chill playing on a console as far as video games graphics what not I cant tell the difference but you can get a lot more games on the PC through illegal downloads and whatnot
You can do that on PC, lol. On PC, you can play: Gamecube N64 Wii GBA NDS SNES PS1 PS2 PSP Xbox Original Dreamcast Sega Saturn Genesis All with their native controllers. As well as most PS3/360/XB1/PS4 titles at a higher resolution, with a higher frame rate, and better textures. Better prices, smarter user base, more customization... The only edge any console has is exclusive titles, and maybe your friends are on console. But PC has like 50:1 more exclusive titles, and way better social networking, so it really doesn't matter.
