What should the international community do about Somalia this time?

  1. http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/04/03/somalia.camp/index.html

250,000 Somalis are living in tents after leaving their homes in the lawless capital, Mogadishu. To cite CNN.com: "the U.N. calls the Afgooye camp 'probably the single largest IDP [internally displaced persons] gathering in the world today.'" So what should/can be done?

Nothing? Is it best to not interfere? Is the country enough of an asset to be interfered with? Is the crisis bad enough yet? Would you write your congressman or does it not concern the U.S.? Would it just be another stupid move to try to put American soldiers/peacekeepers there?

  2. why not? we act like we're the asshole law enforcement of the world anyway, why stop now?

  3. Before we help out others we need to help ourselves. This country is going down the shitter fast. So instead of spending our tax dollars helping others lets try and fix our educational systems, help our homeless, and take care of fuckin Americans.

Once we get to a state where we are no longer in debt, have health care for every citizen, a home for every citizen, etc then its time to help the world.

  4. Im fucking sick of that country. Any money that goes into those places, goes right in the hands of the people doing the fucking damages.

Sorry for this but FUCK THEM ALL LET THEM DIE AND START THAT WHOLE PIECE OF LAND OVER AGAIN
