I've had a set of bubble bags and used them for a few runs now. The last time I tried to run through them they were so clogged 100 micron bags were taking 30-40 mins to drain. After I was done with the hash, I ran the bags under hot water backwards, as I always do. What can I use to clean the silk screens out? I was thinking of either alcohol or lighter fluid. What's your recommendations?
Grab some isopropyl and just let them soak in it overnight; the next day, flush a large volume of water (like a 5 gallon bucket dumped at once) through each bag to press any undissolved particles through the bags. Before that though, check that iso won't degrade the fibers of your bags. That's what I'd do, but I don't own any bubble bags. Perhaps someone who does could weigh in.
