What should I get?

First toke, invest in a small glass pipe.

 

I would go with a nice glass spoon. Reason being that maybe you don't know if your gonna like smoking the herb(wouldn't know why). If you do like smoking you will prolly get a bong in the near future but for now I would go with a nice small spoon.

Don't get acrylic, its not worth it..... Get a nice small durable glass piece.

Just because its stone doesn't mean it wont break. I had a buddy who said his was indestructible, then he dropped it and it split right down the middle. BUT that's just one story, everyone handles their pieces differently.

If you get a good spoon with pretty thick glass it will be fairly durable. It could handle getting knocked off a table onto carpet under most circumstances. But have you considered maybe a chillum? Don't know what you think of them but sometimes they are cheaper than a spoon and you can get them in different materials instead of glass. I like my chillum. Usually don't have huge bowls but since your a new smoker you shouldn't need much to get you high. I can get 3 or 4 medium hits off my chillum.

go with the cheapest water pipe you can get.no matter the quality of herb you are getting it will be cleaner and get you high no matters

 

I just started smoking a few months ago, and my first buy was a nice glass pipe. I don't regret it at all. It's nice and smooth. You can find good ones pretty decently priced in your needed range as well whatever it may be.

 

for the first time try gettin some freinds together and spliting a blunt then AFTER you fall in love with mj buy a glass pipe

 

get a acylic if your clumsy man there still alot of fun i smoke out of them for 2 years straight and can only tell a slight difference from high end glass.

Anyway, a glass bowl is a good start.

 

I would get an acrylic bubbler/pipe/bong. They perform just like glass, in my acrylic bubbler, all of the pieces the smoke touches are metal, then it touches water, cools down, and only then is it exposed to the acrylic. There is no taste or possibility of it ever melting, I have take huge hits with the lighter torching the hell out of the bowl for a long time and it will get really hot, but where the metal meets plastic, it is just room temperature.

Get glass if you want a permanent piece, that can still break

Get acrylic if you want to save some cash, have a pipe

 

gotta get a nice glass spoon for a first piece, i had my firt on until just a few weeks ago when i finally broke it and replaced it with a bad ass dry sherlock

 

Go with the glass pipe, if you like mj and want to keep smoking get a glass bong. Don't go with the acrylic.

 

invest in a glass spoon. easy to use, and you will learn the tricks as you go.
