I was wondering what will give me the best yield in a 3.5X7.5 space. Should I split it into 2 3.5.75 spaces and grow smaller plants or should I use the whole height. Thanks
Honestly dude, worry about getting started period before you figure out any structure for your grow room. I see so many people on here talk about what to do with closets and are so consumed with what they "will do" and wind up talking about it for way too long. Go out, get you some CFL's and soil, germ and plant some bagseeds, and see how you like it before you wind up spending your grandmother's inheritance (btw I hope she's still alive and well) on some dream master setup that might be complete overkill for a hobby you find you're far too paranoid to ever have. Just a thought bro, no negativity meant by it.
Always good to hear advice. I have actually been growing for awhile and i am going to be building a new setup. I will actually have 4 spaces 3.5X7.5. I got a bunch of equipment too also
these are wise words. to the OP, If you're going split it then I would make one of them just a small clone area, and the other veg probably.
Oh ok, sorry for the mixup then, I can't tell you how many posts that are exactly like this that I see every day. Anyways, if you have 4 different spaces that are that big, why not have 4 different rooms? Hell, personally, I'd have 1 veg room, 1 flower, 1 mother/clone room, and 1 transition room I can trigger all my flowering and cut down the males, although that room will probably just become another flower room eventually lol.
These 4 areas are straight for flowering I have the cloning and veg areas covered. I already have established strains also so i dont' need to sex anything
ill give you guys a better idea of whats going on exactly. The total room is 9.5X11.5X7.5 about. 3X4 of the floor space will be veg and 2 will be for cloning and also about 1.5X2 for a shelf for supplies. at one end of the room is a door and the other end there is an air intake my exhaust filter will be above the 3X4 veg area. I have 4 400w hps right now for flowering but I am going to move up to 600s or 1000s depending how I set the flower areas up
