what should i do with these?

  1. ill go in order with the pictures.

the first picture is 1 of 2 lights im using. a 300w normal bulb, 6000 lumens each, have had them an estimated 18 inches from plants.

second, is my setup. this is my first grow, wasnt into it much at first but now it's getting interesting, and i want to get these plants flowering already. problem with that is i could be moving in 4-6 weeks, maybe less. should i wait until i move? these plants are about 6 weeks old. have gone through a lot of shock due to me being a noob ha.

third picture is my best plant. the yellow dead patches are fom too much heat when i changed lights.

fourth picture is the other two plants, the front one isnt doing too bad, but the middle-back plant is struggling. the leaves are begining to turn yellow and id like to stop that before it happens to any other plant.

and as you can see i have a few seedlings coming in i need to do something with.

i need a fan aswell, the only fan i have right now is the ceiling fan in the room, blowing down on them somewhat when the closet door is open and the light is on, im on a 18/6 schedule.

MONEY IS VERY TIGHT. but i need to do something!! lol

by the way they were topped after the fourth node. (i think that whats its called)

  2. wrong light bulb dewd, get yourself a cfl (biggest you can afford) and hang it about 1 - 2 inches above the plant tops.
Make a homemade reflector for it with carboard covered with shiney silver wrapping paper (3 metres for 0.99p here), and some on the walls if you can.
also, do you have a fan on them? or a fresh suply of co2?

  3. cfl's are the long tubes arent they? i went and looked at some today and im thinking of going with 4- 24" 17w tubes right over the top of them like you said, and then with the 2 lamps i have now i was going to get two cool bulbs, the twisty kind, 1150 lumens each. do you think my lumens/sqft will be enough? i plan on getting a small desk fan just to place by them, that should work right? i dont have time, money, or the experience to go with multiple fans and crazy light setups with this grow.

and i baught some perlite, is there a way to mix it into the soil the plants are already in? i dont want to buy more soil and transplant for the 3rd time.

  4. ok but i only have 2 lamps, and i cant generate enough lumens with only 2 right?

that wont burn the plant 2 inches from them, they get hot dont they

  5. Not nearly as hot as incandesent

  6. aight cool. i was gonna get another lamp and a fan from my friend and put three of them over top of the plants. should i get the cool ones?

  7. Did you really grow those plants under that one light bulb. Im surprized they are doing as well as they look. Like everyone else said get your self some cfl at least and maybe do a lil reading. Take care and have fun. later
