What should I do? Need advice please

Alright let me give y'all the background. I chill with my friend Adam sometimes and I was over at his new apartment 2 night ago. It was him and his gf we were just smoking and drinking before I went to go chill with this girl around 945pm. They said to come back later and I was going to, so I left my ray bans ($150) there and basically said fuck it I'll get em when I come back. Keep in mind both Adam and his gf saw them cuz I took them out and showed them. I've known them for 4 years, I'm 18 they're 19. So I get done with this chick around 12:30 and then I call them to say I'm coming back. They don't answer, so I figure they just crashed.

I text her and say hey I left my shades over there I'll get em tomorrow. She texts me back the next morning saying where'd you leave them? On the counter, I say. Her:"oh yeah I see them I'll get them for you" me"ok when can I get them?" Didn't get a reply till later that night, I've been callin them all day. He texts me "um there not here actually, I can't find them the ones I found were mine. This is when I'm starting to realize there might be a situation. I think to myself fuck that and I drive over there. They answer after I knock 50 times. They play stupid and are telling me are you sure you didn't bring them? We've been looking everywhere we can't find them. I really wish I could've beat the fuck out of him but being straight up, he's a lot stronger than me and I can't. His gf looked down the whole time, guiltiest expression I've ever seen in my life. But wtf could I have done in that situation? All I said was this isn't over, and it's gonna be the last time I ever set foot there, I was the only friend that faggot thief had left. I fuckin slammed the door and left after that.

Sorry for posting something that's obviously my fault in the first place for leaving them, but it was at a friends I thought I could trust. Is there anything I can do legal wise? Should i fuck up their car/apartment when this blows over, should I have fought him? Or do I just sit here and accept that this bitch stole my shades I bought with my hard earned money as a reward to myself for getting into university. Appreaciate any advice y'all can give me, I'm so confused/pissed/hurt right now I'm not thinking straight.

 

Btw everyone knows this guy is a thief, but he only had a few friends and didnt from them, until now.

 

He just got arrested recently and had a $3000 bond to pay off, I think they pawned it that next day they wouldn't text back.

 

I really appreciate yall's advice, like honestly. i can't just take them into a separate room, i barged into their apartment and told them the story. they knew i was right, i knew that they knew i was right which made me even more pissed. the girl is adam's girlfriend, he's a fucking sociopath and she does whatever he tells her. they obviously got their story straight with each other before i came and planned to lie to my face. i'm pretty good at reading people, both were obviously bullshitting but this dude is a lot bigger than me and i didn't think it was the best idea to start a fight in his own place.

 

i smoked weed everyday my first semester of community college. my grades suffered for it, i couldnt multitask. i decided to stop smoking during the week, and leave it for the weekends. it worked, i got my grades up and i got into university in my hometown and i can now move back to my dream city (austin, tx). i decided to reward myself with some badass ray-bans when i got my acceptance letter about 3 weeks ago. yup, i only had them for 3 weeks.
