Sup blades, A few weeks ago me,this kid I know(we'll call him Joe),my best friend, and this other kid all smoked together at my best friends house.My best friend and I went downstairs to get some munchies and we left joe and the other kid alone in my friends room. Yesterday,Joe told me to order a bong for him off here(he doesnt have a credit card) and gave me $20 so I said ok and that was that.Anyways,today my best friend asks me if he can make Joe's bong "dissapear"(say it never came) and I asked him why and he said some of his other friends told him that Joe was bragging about stealing my best friends stash and money when we smoked. So my friend checks where his stash and money are,and sure enough everythings gone(2g's and $50) and also joe is having me ship the bong to my house. What should I do? BTW Joe steals sometimes from other people and stores(thief) tl;dr kid i barely know stole friends stash and also $50 and the kid gave me money($20) and told me to order a bong for him.Now best friend wants me to tell the kid that his bong never came.What do blades? ALSO my best friend said he would do the same for me if I was in his situation and ive been friends with him for around 4 or 5 years.

personally i would make the bong "dissapear" i have a feeling your gonna get some white knights telling you not to get involved. sure this kid will get fucked eventually but i don't belive in karma, you gata make shit happen. and when he does get caught stealing he's not be thinking about how he robbed your buddy. Someone who decieved you and your friend, wronged the both of you... The situation speaks for itself. Once a thief, always a thief. The phrase is more true than you know. The best thing to do is to assess the situation as necessary. Keep the bong, when he asks about it, say yeah you stole from a friend of mine, and i dont need a friend thats already proven to deceive, cheat, and obviously steal from me or my friends. Sounds harsh, but its a harsh world. Get used to it. You gotta watch out for yourself and the ones that watch out for you. If if you give him what he wants your good friend will consider this a betrayal on your part.

My advice is to give it to the person that's paid for it. Don't get involved in other peoples shit like this, it's just adding YOU doing wrong into the mix really.
If you haven't already ordered it, give him back his money and tell him to replace everything he jacked. If you did already order it, tell him you won't give it to him until he fixes the situation. No point in lying about it when you talk to him. He needs to learn that his actions have consequences.
You have basically let us know your best friend has stole and shit in the past and his friends aren't reliable (you don't know if you should believe them). This is why you don't know what to do in this situation. Because the situation may be different than it appears or you have been told. Who is the "bad" guy in this story. You don't want to fuck with an innocent person. There might be more to the story that you don't know about and you don't know who to trust. In this case, I would follow the "white knights" in this story telling you to hold off vengeance on Joe. I would definitely confront Joe with all parties present and see if he admits to it. Whether or not he admits to it you can't morally do anything except insist he pay your best friend back because you are unsure of the truth, so you should stay out of that part. And let Joe keep his bong, cause it's a piece of shit anyways, unless you want to ransom it (you're not going to get much for it).
