Sorry to start another thread but Im having a look on ebay for a cheap set up and am after a bit of advice. I live in the UK and am after a starter set up and was wondering what peoples opinions are on these that are available. Hi, First off It is hard for me to give you advice on the type of setup to go with unless you give me the dim. of the room. I can tell you that if you only want to grow 1/2 plants you are not going to need anything that big. for plants that small I would even consider buying some security lights or CFL's from your local hardware store. You see the closer you can get the light to the plants without burning them the better off you are. the higher the watts the further away the light has to be and on top of that the heat build up from a 250 watt HPS in a small grow chamber can build up to ungrowable conditions.
