I believe highly in Karma, do right by others and you will be rewarded in the end. I am atheist but believe that somehow treating others right will garner good will towards me later.
Heres one of my personal favorites " Treat people the way they treat you, not the way you wanna be treated, or else you'll get shit on" Meening if you treat people good and they dont treat you good then there not worth it , ( aka their shitting on you )
