p0gmoth0inâ€â„¢s Music Profile â€â€œ Users at Last.fm I like chill ska, reggae, acoustic music. Look up slightly stoopid, sublime, the expendables, etc. Most of their songs are great, but I tend to avoid their angsty punk songs. Their light music is the only kind of music that really cheers me up no matter what.
Any Rock is good. Or try some psychedelic Trance. One song I'd recommend is "The Only Living Boy in New York" by Simon and Garfunkel. It's awesome.
For ska: It's Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and The Mighty Mighty BossTones. For rock: Pink Floyd and Rush For techno: Ratatat and the Postal Service. Hell, I don't even know how to classify these others, but Billy Joel, Sicko, The New Pornographers, and Matisyahu.
Maybe thats the problem.Try listening to something new and completely different, you never know.I listen to all kinds of different music.
i listen to a lot of dispatch when i'm burnin a bowl. its kinda a folk, indie band from the 90s. some of my favorites are bang bang remix, elias, out loud, steeples, two coins, whirlwind, and past the falls. probably my favorite band actually. myspace.com/dispatch
I like to listen to indie or atleast somewhat indiesque music, some of it is a bit electronic but not quite. I listen to alot of Animal Collective, Department of Eagles, Boards of Canada, and Flashbulb when I'm high. Listen to Nas, Biggie, Band of Horses, Bone Thugs, The Cure, Dead Prez, Radiohead, People Under The Stairs, Set Your Goals, The Violent Femmes, MSTRKRFT, and The Smiths. A lot of variety right there.
zeppelin, hendrix, sublime, slightly stoopid, expendables, marley, SOJA, and if your into metal....megadeth, motorhead, maiden, priest, lamb of god, and if your into rap...immortal technique, jedi mind tricks, army of the pharoas, ill bill, devon the dude. hope this helps
Try some entirely different music. Fish into less popular genres, other eras, other countries ... Eric Dolphy Gerschwin Rachmaninov the Andrews Sisters Johnny Cash Scott Joplin Mozart Chalino Sanchez Fito Paez Utah Phillips Antonio Carlos Jobim Edith Piaf Howlin' Wolf Tito Puente go light one up ...
I like to listen to just really chill stuff while I'm high Modest Mouse, Brand New, Circa Survive, Mogwai, PinBack, Explosions In the Sky, The Samuel Jackson Five (awesome prog/instrumental band), Interpol, Isis, Karate, Kings of Leon etc. I would also really appreciate it if you guys checked out my electronic band the Mesa Tones.
