I am reading that there are different types of LED like COB and QB... Quantum board would be led chips glued or printed on a board... but i also red here that only HLG can makes QB. I also find others company selling so called QB using same chips LM301b mounted with other drivers. And what about Mars Hydro TS series?

A “quantum board” is nothing but the name Horticulture Lighting Group dubbed their pcb (printed circuit board) lights. They’ve even copyrighted or trademarked the term “quantum board” to prevent other American companies from selling products labeled “quantum boards” and stepping on their toes. But what’s makes a light a qb aside from trademark laws and what not? The driver. The ability to run at whatever wattage you choose, the coverage, the penetration. The difference is just everything. White light, efficiency. The best lights don’t mean shit if you can’t grow. But it’s one less thing to worry about. I ain’t been here long, but I haven’t seen anyone ditch qb’s for any other style of lighting (minus the sun). BUT, I have seen growers from every other lighting source switch to qbs. KTIM.
