what kind of paint should I use?

  1. so I am planning on painting the inside of my grow boxs flat white, I was just wondering if I should get a certain type of paint that can stand intense light and some moister, I've also got to light proof my grow bed, it's a sterilite container and is perfect for me, but it's clear, and they lid will be great for a light barrier for the roots, sorry I forgot to mention that I am using an ebb and flow setup, but it allows light to pass through because its white.

I was thinking for the lid that I could lay down a base coat of black then top it with some flat white and it should stop the light, I just don't want to get some paint that is going to bubble up and chip, or stink under the lights, or just stink for that matter.

  2. Use foil tape for light blocking, and use exterior white flat paint.
