What kind of jewelry loupe do I need

I suggest you get a pocket microscope instead of a jewellers loupe..

Better yet if u wanna spend a bit more this is a USB camera microscope.. can hook it up to a phone to take pics..

Hope u have a android? Anyways when u get it. Use a barcode scanner to get the software to use it. So u will have to change ur phone settings to allow non trusted download. Than when u plug it into phone the light will turn on at the endo tip. Tip where the wire goes into scope is the focus and it has a light dimmer switch on cord

Going to try this out then. Now that I am back growing been looking on Amazon couldn't decide on joulers loop or usb, was going to start a thread like this.
I have this one.

It sucks to look at trichomes with this thing lol. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

i have the carson 300 & it works great.. your never supposed to press against ur buds to get a look at trichs..

I recommend taking off a piece of it like the size of the dot in this period (.) .. literally that small.. & ur guaranteed to have more than enough trichs on it to make a decission on harvest..

Pressing on buds knocks off trichs hurting aroma & potency.. no good!!

But thats a great microscope bud!!

Ive posted trich pics with it.. it takes time to get good at taking pics with it as ull habe to be dead still any movement at these zoom’s will cuse blur no doubt.. cant even breath @ the moment of snapping the shot..

Looking thru it for urself its as clear as day what ur looking for just mess with the focus and its a breeze..

& thats a bit pricey.. should cost around $8-$13.. $17 is alot.. look on ebay..

That one is hard to pick up colors on the Ts. I does make them look really big compared to thr clip on ones. The digital endo scope is hard to get pics while buds are on plants. I just take a tiny nug and look at it on a table

Small pen tip size has hundreds of trichs on it..

Maybe this will give a clear idea as to how small of a piece you need to check trichs and a smaller piece will work the same wonders..
(But it should never be a nug u cansmoke after.. anything u cansmoke after is way too big)..
