My dog is a Husky mix. He was found in a river bed in Mexico at an extremely young age. He has been such a damn good dog.
yes they were used for hunting lions and are very terratorial and can be aggressuve if not trained properly, however they are very easy to train and vey eager to learn if you put the time in with them theyre brilliant but if you dont bother trainning them properly they will just run amok, and theyre big and can cause alot of damage so proper training is a must. my dog is extremely well trained and would never attack any one unless i told her to "sick" wich i would never do unless someone was trying to hurt me, but she does go nuts if someone knocks on the door and shes sounds scary enough to put anyone off trying to break in bbut i only have to say "quiet" and she calms down immediatley ive owed alot of breeds and while the ridgeback has alot of potential to hurt a person, theyre one of the easiest breeds to train in my opinion, once they know your the boss they will literally do anything for you, so its all down to the owner really ridgebacks are very loving, theyre very good with children and if their socialised from a young age there very good with other dogs, brilliant as a guard dog, but also an excellent family dog
i have a beagle, he's so perfect.... I rescued him in March and we have been steady kickin' it ever since! i love bigger dogs though, grate danes, pit bulls, and bulldogs (english & american) are some of my favorite breeds. i tried uploading a pic but it's way too big, and dunno the html code to resize.

Black Lab. I got her when she was 8 weeks old, she'll be 3 at the end of February. She tore her ACL earlier this year in May and had surgery. We just finished going through therapy on Friday. Still won't be until Spring that she can be outside without being on her leash.....
