What kind of car do YOU own?

  1. Own meaming own and operate, not your dad's or GF's car (otherwise i'd have a Mustang). Just out of curiosity, be as descriptive as you like.

Me; 2004 Dodge Intrepid ES. 3.5l high output, 250hp, 240lbs of torque, about 20 mpg. Black with a spoiler and an upgraded stereo. Nothing fancy, but it has 5 inch speakers and a 250w amp. No rims or anything special.

I like this car because it looks like a grandmas car, but it is QUICK as hell, and great in the snow to boot. Kinda interested in what you guys are sporting.

  2. 86 Honda Accord
It pretty good on gas for a damn near thirty year old car it gets 32mpg

  3. Hahaha. 2002 VW bug. Manual. Not fixed up. All stock except the sound system that I put in about a year ago. Yellow. No decals. No fancy rims. Nothing. Just a car. :) It does SOOOO good on gas. I just hit 100 miles on the $15 I put in it. :D I like this car because it fits me so perfectly. It's so wonderful.

  4. Thanks for sharing.

  5. 2002 Mercury Sable. It's a grandma ride but I love it. It drives nice, is badass in the snow, it's pretty fast, and is hella roomy. It isn't very good on gas but I don't drive much so whatever. My kids' car seats are huge and they fit nicely in there and I can still fit another person.

  6. 2012 ford fusion SEL. Lease... Has like 3800 miles on it. Been rear ended already (f150 going 45 while im at a complete stop) and didn't break it in properly so the trans is fucked already. When i drive economically, I'll get about 21-22 mpg. I redline it at least once a day.

  7. '11 Camaro SS.

    Love it.

  8. Right now my wife and I own a '11 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a '08 VW GTI (only 6 more payments woot!). Typically I drive the Jeep, but we swap from time to time.

  9. Wow man, that really blows.. I dont' mean to bash at all, but I would never buy a Ford, especially new (and ESPECIALLY not a Fusion). I was rearended by an Expedition in a parking lot a few months ago. She was probably going around 15-20. All it did was bend the fiberglass part of the bumper, which pulled out nicely. Car repairs always suck..

I only paid $1800 for mine, I pretty much stole it from my neighbor when I rolled my 96 Cavalier last winter. The one I had was used as a Police interceptor at one point, so for all I know, it might not even be stock.. If I didn't have a bad O2 sensor and sub-par tires, the car would drive just like a new Charger.

  10. 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee

    About 250 hp, 350 ft-lbs of torque.

Quick as hell, great in the snow ;) surprises a lootttt of people off the line, I love it.

No sound/interior/visual mods.... But it's got headers, a 3" exhaust system, and a less restrictive air intake of sorts.

  11. better than an 08 accord. lol honda cars get shit MPG now...

  12. Not true. Owned both 06 Civic EX and 08 Civic Si. Two different engines, both got 30+mpg when not driving like an asshat.

Parents also currently own an 08 Accord... they routinely get right around 30mpg

Hell, I can even get aorund 25mpg in my jeep if Im up on the highway and in cruise control at 65mph.

You sure your mileage doesnt suck b/c you are too heavy on the pedal or theres an issue with your car?

  13. 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer

  14. You got it backwards. The 3.5 engine in the Intrepid produces 240HP and 250lb tq.

And 240HP in a FWD vehicle that weighs 3600lbs, is not "quick as hell".

  15. 98 pontiac grand prix GTP. 3.8 liter engine with a supercharger. Dragon x secret weapon ram air intake. Dual flowmasters. 2 alpine type x subs pushing a 3500 watt amp with a capacitor. Have t dynoed it yet but in guessing 250-280 hp. Only bad thing is FWD

  16. 2002 Chevy Silverado all whited out. Use to have nice tires/rims but my shit got stolen and they took them and my stereo system before leaving the car on blocks. Insurance fixed everything up real nice tho, and then I bought a new system. Left the shitty rims/tires on tho, I don't need to get jacked again.

  17. Shit, they were thorough

Glad insurance took care of you well though!

  18. That suuuucks.

My 08 Civic Si got broken into. They stole an original ipod, a broken garmin, a bunch of CDs and some walkie talkies out of my glove box.

I figure it HAD to have been kids, though, seeing as they neglected to take my $1k stereo, my $500 Shoei racing helmet which was on the passenger seat or the $3k worth of parts I had sitting in the trunk.

    Idiots.

  19. 2002 Madza B3000 v6. Basically a Ford ranger, its pretty shitty but my parents paid for it. I can't complain, it works.
