What key quality do you look for when picking up dank?

    From my experiences, fluffy is always good. I know a lot of guys who will jump on anything that reeks, and I think that's dumb as hell. Of course if its frosty with trichs its gonna be hard to pass up, but I've had some pickups that werent too frosty yet were bomb as fuck. Lemme hear your opinions.

    There's a few things I look at before I buy-
    looks-should have a decent amount of crystals/hairs. I usually buy indicas (dense) as opposed to sativas (fluffy)
    smell-depends on the strain really, this is more of a secondary thing to me though. Like basically if it looks amazing but smells like hay or nothing at all, I know it could of just not been cured properly.

    When i pick up my bud i look for hairs and crystals mostly smell it then i look and see if its fluffly and if they gave me the right amount

    id say scent..not too strong it has to be a beautiful smell that isnt too overwhelming. like an amazing cologne

    No seeds
    No sticks
    No stems
    Bright colored if green then a lime green
    Smell can help tell if it is dank worthy or just some BS
    Resin is the least of my worries because all the handling from person to person lowers the count

    Look at a lot of things... but if it had to come down to a single quality, other than trichomes, I would be looking at the calyx to leaf ratio, not to see if the bud was trimmed well, but to make sure it was grown properly and the buds have had time to fully fill in or swell up the calyxssss.

    Cracking the nug open and taking a huge whiff is usually my first thing.

    Then i stare at it for a min and look for orange hairs and crystals. More bud, less stems/seeds.

    Also..when breaking it up..if it's extra sticky..that's usually that GOOD GOOD.
