What are you guys favorite nutrient line? Im doing my own little study before I start my grow journal and I want to use techniques that everyone finds to be the best. You can answer more than once Lets do it.
If youre doing hydro I suggest no organics-you'll wind up with algae problems and all kinds of other shit. And don't use EJs Ph adjusters, I can tell you from experience theyre dogshit. Ph will spike up to 7 overnight. I like Canna. I get great results out of them for hydro. For soil, organics ftw. Like Jerry said, ewc and kelp meal
this is my first grow and I've been using the canna line up. They got nutrients taylored to ur grow style like, a first timer like myself I was looking for a simple nutrients that u don't have to buy 3 of them to have them work. Example genral hydro trio you have to use 2 of them during veg and switch to the other 2 in flower I just like to keep it simple. Plus canna has a lot of other awesome nutrents that can be add in with ur base nutrients. Diffintly have to check out there website chill & smoke some bud!
have yall heard of the new stuff from AN. To where you dont need to adjust your ph ever......how good is that, its expensive as hell.
Used GH's Maxi line for my first 2 grows. Super cheap, easy to use, Lucas-formula friendly and great results without a silly schmorgasboard of nutrients. Simple, cheap and effective.
It works. My neighbor uses it in conjunction with advanced sunshine #4 soiless. He's never had a problem. I personally think AN spends to much time on their cartoonish bottle art. But that's simply opinion. I've seen a million grows with a thousand different nutes. I feel a lot depend on your grow style. I like to play around a bit. And I didn't care for how grainy FF micros were. Horrible for runnin the occasional DWC bucket as I do. You'll figure out what's right for you soon enough.
I wouldn't say they have nutes tailored to your style but they do have different nutrients for your medium. Also, id be hesitant to say they require less than gh. Keep in kind you have two nutes for both veg and flower each. That would be 4 bottles vs gh's 3 bottles for Veg and flower together. also, gh is cheaper than canna. However, canna is very easy to mix, 1:1 ratio part a:b. Gh, on the other hand, you can run all three or do Lucas or useless formula. Tons of possibilities. Cannas additives, however, are spectacular. Much superior to gh's line. I run the full canna line and it's great. They are made by the Dutch after all

Its the terra veg and terra flore that's wat I was talking about having something simple compared to others out there. I was looking for something cheap that would still get the job done with out spending a bill on nutrents just to get started and canna had that product for $20. Vs having to buy 3 $15 bottles. but you are correct that canna does take 2 bottles per cycle so total of 4 for the whole grow ends up costing more then the 3 bottle set up. Its all of wat you prefer and want to use. chill & smoke some bud!
Im a big supporter of Technafloras line. They offer a "trial" pack that has ample nutes for a grow start to finish. Granted its not organic, it works great.
Ahh, didnt realize we were talking about terra here. Not familiar with it so I cant say much on it but for the aqua series its 4 different products total the Vega a+b and Flores a+b. In the realm of two-part nutes you could also go with gh's nova series. Im not familiar with the product but price-wise just a bit more expensive than the regular gh 3-part. I hear a lot of people get good results and if you want to do Lucas, you can cut it down to one bottle for both veg and flower. Pretty cost effective I would think
