Yeah it seems like today you are just buying licenses to play games rather than games themselves. Then maybe more for season passes and/or loot boxes or whatever they may be labeled as. I don’t see that going away anytime soon, despite whatever controversy as of now. Idk. I hate it but it’s a business model. Games today are weird. And trendy, I hate that. I want a game I can play for years, build a character, have something to show after years of hard work. I love my GTA profile, but we all now where that game is today. Played a lot of PUBG also, had some very fun times on it.
Thinking about starting that Gears 5 story with the homie here in a little. MW’s really been holding my attention as well. Hell yeah PUBGs come a long way. Lol still has a ways to go too. Fun game tho had some good times and made good friends on it.
The Only Multi Player I Do is With My Husband...so We do 2 Player Campaigns or VS Eachother. Usually Halo Series or Gears of War Series, Mortal Kombat or Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros. Conkers Bad Fur Day or 007 Goldeneye. Dead or Alive an there A Few Others too that I Can't Remember RN TBH. ~Toni~

The only online game I ever REALLY got into was a French game entitled "Dofus". It's still actively developed, but it's moved away from what it was when I played. That and I just don't play online games anymore.
I'm pretty basic I really like Call of Duty. Which is actually very surprising for me, it's nothing like what I usually play. MW2, MW3, BO2, and Modern Warfare are my favorites. I also like playing Soul Calibur 6 online. I've met some cool people in matches.
