Using 320w HLG Quantum board Humidity-55.9% Temp- 24.8 Soil- Ocean Forest and perlite Light distance 22’ 3 weeks old Nutes- none- just good old ph6 water Had other garden plants in the same tent- all started from seed. No bring outs and in from tent- all started inside and stayed inside tent. Today we took out all the plants and left the single plant. We noticed the top leaves were curled/twisted and ragged looking. I looked with my video scope and there isn’t any aphids or spider mites. I checked every square inch of that plant. Lol Had spider mites last grow (end of last Fall) so I know what to look for. Anyway, I think it might be CalMag deficiency or too much Nitrogen or cucumber mosaic virus but uncertain. So I watered this morning and runoff was at 1500? I checked again and it was at 800...weird. I checked my tap water which usually sits at 300/400 and it was 1500...basically had to run out and buy a new ppm meter. Checked runoff and it was at 2567!! Check a couple more times and it was at 2567...phrunoff was at 4.5. Ocean Forest is always so hot here in Canada- probably the time it takes to ship it up here it gets stronger and stronger (just a theory) so I had to flush down to 500 as I am just hitting the beginning of week 4. The bag was mid pile and not too heavy/light if that makes sense lol When I bought it the guy said it was there for about two weeks and takes about two weeks to get here. It also sat all winter in my dark basement after last years grow. The first bit of runoff was at 2376 and after every flush it went down about 300-500. In a day or two we will find out I guess. So I watered last night. I’m using General Organics and the Cal Mag was 5mg per two gallons. I do only two gallons- I know it is more than I need but I use the leftover for the garden...anyway. The PH going in was 6.5 and coming out was 5.6. The leaves are very crispy at the bottom and feel dry. It is growing still but very slowly. My heat is at 26 during the day and 19 during dark stage. I though perhaps ph is still screwy even though I have two PH meters so I went out today and got a soil testing kit. It says use distilled water but I can’t get any right now so (on places I read) it said take tap water and ph to 5.8- so I did the test and here are the results.. I did the ph and it comes in at 6.5 so I believe I am okay. I wonder if I need to top dress or wait until Sunday (today is Friday) to water again and hope the top leaves recover.
