What is wrong with this Bud.

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by Nuata, Sep 2, 2012.

  1. I recently got some "KB" and it smells like hay really badly, it doesnt even smell like bud at all. It looks pretty good except it has tons of leaves on it? perhaps it was poorly trimmed but what's going on with the smell, and when it burns it gets really hard and black and tastes bad. Gets me high though. Has any one ever seen this? is it normal? should i keep smoking it? any input would be great.:smoke::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Here are some pics of the bud in question.

  2. could be where it was grown that is causing the smell. it looks good to me. if it smokes good then theres nothin wrong it was probably just grown somewhere with a lot of hay.

    enjoy the bud

    :smoke:

  3. Prolly some amatuerly grown mids not cured well or somethin

  4. How much did it cost you cause i have almost the same type of bud looks same and smells bad but gets me high it got sold to me as headies for 100 a Q

  5. Those are the signs of not very good weed, burns black instead of white, smells bad, leafy, etc.

  6. Time for a new dealer, thats a product of poorly grown weed

  7. looks like low quality buds, thats about all i can tell from the photos.

  8. Leafy means it wasn't trimmed well, not that its bad weed.

  9. You're fine bro, that weed looks like high quality. If it gets you high, keep tokin!

  10. if i were u i would cure it asap. throw it in a mason jar and keep it there maybe 2 weeks. Its gonna take time but at least u will get ur moneys worth.

  11. Thanks for all the responses, i paid 180 for an ounce. Its pretty decent except for the smell and how it gets rock hard when i start toking it.

  12. Looks like it has a lot of leaves in it.

  13. i read somewhere that bud that smells like old hay could be mouldy, not saying that it is it could be something else, just be careful

  14. Yeah it's probably just some poorly grown outdoor that wasn't flushed right

does it sizzle/crackle when you smoke it?

  15. badly trimmed and badly cured I would guess.... Try chopping off the little leaves and save them for a dry day... and cure the bud a bit yourself...

Is there any popping and sparking when you light it does the ash go completely white, it may have not been flushed right.

  16. If it burns black and not white ash that means whoever grew it didn't flush it properly so it still has growing chemicals in it. As for the leaves it doesn't really matter if you leave that amount it all depends if they have trichomes on them, my last harvest the leaves were so crystal covered it seemed like a waste to cut them off... its all personal preference. If the bud does not smell like bud and more like hay or pine needles then that means they dried it too fast.

  17. Don't smoke it, you'll die. better give it to me so nobody gets hurt.

  18. I know exactly what this is. I've had it. Basically the dealer/grower injects kimo therapy needles in it to expand the nug and make it appear bigger giving it the leafy greeny look and also makes it easily break apart. It is fine to smoke but I would reccomend not to buy from this kid again.

  19. Just stop. Can't tell if troll or........

  20. nope its just my friend who is a douchebag dealer did this to people.
