  2. the leaves look like they are doing just fine. Your temp is on the low side, I try to keep my temps around 78-82 with the lights on and 65-70 when lights are off. Are you giving them enough water? I have a few in soil and I water only when the pot is light, then I give t ia through watering. I wouldn't worry too much they look fine.

  3. so just up my temp then huh?

  4. i have watered them every day so it might be a start of root rot:(

  5. I doubt it's root rot at this point, but definitely cut back on the watering to every two to three days and water until you have some runoff.

What I think some people don't realize is that watering serves two purposes. Giving the plant hydration AND rinsing waste material out of the soil. Watering a little less every day is giving the plant adequate hydration, but it's not getting the waste material out.

This is why some people flush ocassionally too.

If you haven't been watering until you have runoff, then flush it and wait until the soil is dry to rewater.

Sitck your finger 1" into the soil and if it feels damp down there, wait to water later.

And if you are having problems with temps too low, what it really means is you don't have enough lights. Add lights if possible until the temp gets to where you want it. You can't have too much light, only too much heat. :devious:

  6. can i turn the heat up instead of more lights?

  7. what light do you have on them? they look weak for flowering.

  8. I got 7/26watt cfl's on them at this time for the two plants

  9. those lights are way too far away. I run low watt tubes and they make bushy plants, you are way stretched.

I'd say your leaf stitching is either heat surges or watering issues. how much wind do you have on them, sometimes leaves in front of my fan will do that.

  10. this is the fan i am running

  11. Since when is 73 too low of a temp? Its supposed to be between 70-80

  12. IMO, temps are fine, lights are weak and too far away and the plant needs to dry out!!!

MJ would rather be dry than wet. Letting the soil get good and dry before watering again , makes the roots go out in search of nutrients and water (they grow). Roots need oxygen as much as they eeed water, by keeping the soil wet, you suffocate the root, resulting in rot.

I water as each plant needs it, roughly once every 3rd day (more during flowering, they just drink more then) I have 7 gallon pots under 800 watts of hps.

More importantly,....PH balance ANYTHING you add into the pot.

  13. New pictures of my grow...How do they look? Does anyone have any suggestions for improvements that I can do.....Thanks
