O.K. I found a plant grownin in my backyard so i brougt her inside - Good find, How tall is it? and what did you transplant it into? "i know its a female she has pistols on her. She had a rough transfer but is doing well now i have a 35watt grolux light on a 12/12 cycle i would like to know how long until she buds and what does it look like when it starts????? " - A question; You said you know its a female because of the apperant pistils which are showing, but then you ask when it will start to bud and what it will look like, which leads me to assume you are mistaking the stipules for actuale pistils, and this unfortunately doesnt tell the sex of the plant. The stipules are the little leaf like growths that grow from the petioles where they meet the stem and serve no apperant purpose. (this picture shows the stipules (crossing eachother) and a female preflower, with the white pistils, which is what your looking for, if you see them on your plant, Congrats!.) http://www.overgrow.com/edge/gallery//Preflowers1.jpg I hope its a female though! "now i have a 35watt grolux light on a 12/12 cycle i would like to know how long until she buds and what does it look like when it starts????? " Within two weeks. make sure the dark period is absolutely dark, no light leaks, if it is a female, and you have light leaking in during its rest, you may stress it and it might become a hermaphrodite...like mine. But you will know its flowering, just look at that picture (taken from http://overgrow.com/faq/browse.php?qa=264 ... go there and check out the other photos, itll help) youll see the flowers and know if its a male or female. "now i have a 35watt grolux light... " Is this a flourescent? even so 35 watts isnt very much, a HPS is reccomended, and you wouldnt need a large one if your only doing one plant, but a hps is redder in the spectrum and is what a plant in flowering favors most. hope this helps. take care, stay safe.
