in one one of the threads sidious refered to something called the black tag tech to determine the sex of the plants what is that and who is it done if any one knows.
The black bag technique is putting a black permeable bag over a branch and leaving it on there to determine the sex of the plant.
plants are neat... u dont need it over the entire branch either. u can just do one fan leaf...yea just one leaf will start a bit of the plant into flowering cycle.
what kind of bag is that and where do you get it or is it an ordinary black bag or something that stops light from passing. Just covering one fan will start flowering for that branch or the entire plant.
any kind of bag will work as long as no light gets through....hence using a black bag.....you just put it over the end of a branch and tie it so as no light gets in.....so that out with you're normal veg stage of like 24/0 or 18/6....you make sure that top of the branch under the bag gets 12/12.....and it will flower and tell you the sex of the plant without triggering you're lights to 12/12....you're basically just fooling one little part of the plant into thinking that it's time to flower....hope that clears it up for you.....Peace out...Sid
