  1. On some of the pics of the Bongs, there is a grommet looking thing on the joint. What is it, my best guess is a guard of some sort??

    sorry i didn't search i don't know what to put.

    Dude as far as I know a gromet is a piece of fabric (rubber, ect.) put inside of hole to shield whats going in it from the sides or edges of the hole.

    And on bongs its used to secure the downstem or bowl (If this is what you're thinking of) so that its air tight.
