    What does +rep do? Also, what are all the things that have to do with +rep? Thank you for all answers.

    Rep is reputation, that little green bar above your name is how much you have.

    You can give people rep for something they say, do, or just for no reason.
    You just click on the little gray thing (scale?) in the upper righthand corner of that person's post.
