What is Obama's view on marijauna laws?

  1. Is he for decriminalization of it? I know that he doesn't want the DEA to charge Medical marijuana users though, he said "it is a waste of our resources" in some clip. So it seems awesome that he won the caucus! If he wins, it seems we very well might see a change finally.

  2. Wow, John Edwards is anti-DEA raids against MM users too!

It seems like it is very close to happening. If they end the Fed gov law conflicts, it will become a state issue, and slowly and surely, all states will adapt MM programs, look at how many have it already! And then it's basically as good as legalized at that point, because you can go to the doctor for stress/anxiety/insomnia, whatever, and get a Rx. So basically anyone who wants to use it could probably get a Rx pretty easily, going by what seems to go on now?

  3. hell yea ^^

  4. It is basically legal in California already. Anyone in CA can just go to a MJ friendly doctor, get a Rx, and then it's legal for them to do it.

  5. it dont matter what the presidents views are, it would take an act of congress to legalize mj im sad to say, and thats happening no time soon. the only other way is thru states rights and taking it to the supreme court and they aint interested in hearing that case.:(

  6. except all the old hags in congress will never pass a motion to legalize marijauna, they grew up during REEEEFFERRRR MADDDNESSSSS!!!

  7. yea but as of now, just ending DEA raids would practically legalize it, as then people could just push for states to adapt MMJ laws which is much easier than convincing the federal government to do that. Once that happens, it is basically "legalized" because you can buy it from MMJ stores in your town, and never have to worry about getting arrested by anyone.

FYI, even in Amsterdamn, weed is not technically legal, it is just tolerated. Weed doesn't have to be literally legal, to be considered legal I would say.

  8. i wanna smoke weed and party like a kennedy

  9. Would be a tragic party... :p
