Music has a way of getting into our heads and triggering emotions on a sub-conscious level. The concept of a “jingle,†a short message in the form of a tune backed by music, was developed in the 1920's and today continues to be one of the preferred methods for advertisers around the globe. Not only are they great for instant recognition, but they have a long shelf life.
i sometimes wonder about the intricacies of music. i have a ferret and she sleeps right next to me by the computer, and during the day i could be blasting music and she doesn't take any notice. i wonder if animals can recognize music, or recognize any part of it such as rythm, or melody, or if it all just sounds like noise to them.
depends on what you consider music ... it goes from ingenious expressions of ones self to garbage ... lyrics are a cheat, the more interesting side of electronic music is what i consider to be genious and everything from what people consider hip hop nowadays to bieber gaga and all the other comercialized bullshit is crap ........ (also commercial electronic music is crap ....like deadmou5 or rusko ) cheers
Gotta disagree with you on that as a rap fan. I think lyrics are the most important part of the song. I can't stand a song with a good beat and crappy lyrics (ie. any lil wayne song).
