     Love is what we create with our two hands. That's it  :bongin:

  9. I thought about this question intensely one day on a binge of a hash/wax/herb mix.
    Love doesn't really exist because we will never fill those words. In other words we cannot find love till two people can define it, but even then it would only be between them. But even then, I felt like that was just mutual compatibility that was acquired over the time we were raised by whoever/whatever.

    It's hard to put it into words...because Love is beyond what words can convey..I'm not talking about love that is between people that know each other-the romantic kind-although that's a little part of it. It's pretty easy I guess to say that it's an illusion...and this life is..but I don't think Love is an illusion..I believe it propels everything that our experience here is.....

    The only way I know how to explain it is through a dream I've had several times... one of those that feel so real..like it's fact..very cold and harsh..

    I don't think I've ever tried to explain it or write it down..

    So in it everything is inanimate (spiritless sluggish; dull-the definition I mean here)....it is this way...and things-people, animals, everything everywhere have no connection..no connection to Energy-There is no Consciousness...nothing we know..cold and without sympathy, pain, sorrow, happiness, every emotion you can think of having..It is always a terrible feeling...like you're a fucking Borg..and then you (I) wake up and come back to Life out of the dream..and damn glad to wake up.

    Energy=Connection=Consciousness=Awareness=Being=Animation= Energy=Connection=the pattern loops around...and time == Irrelevant..

    Energy animates Love..It IS Love...=I guess this is where people draw the connection that 'God' is Love..I just happen to believe what is called 'God' is actually Conscious Energy..that is life itself..Awareness opened..'Mind'

    idk-interesting to think about...

    .....but this is fact..synapses firing..the process I named above in action..possibly?  :laughing:

  11. Like TesseLated said, love is something really hard to convey. It's just something you cannot explain, language afterall has its limits.

    Any explanation we give towards it still could not truly give you a feel for what it is.

    The idea of love seems to be a "common sense" thing that everyone should know, but I think it is far from that. Especially since our idea of romance and love, is greatly influenced by the media, our cultural influences and our upbringing etc etc.

    To me, there is a clear distinction between that idea of love and true love for what it is.

    "True love" to me, is some sort of energy that I just cannot explain aye.

    It's just something I feel for everybody and everything in the cosmos which is very odd, not limited by relationships or family, very weird feeling.

    We are "one" kind of feeling? Hell, I don't know. Like I said, it cannot be described hahaha.

  15. Love is relationship...in any form.

  16. "Love" is a word. But, the warmth and connection that that word denotes is a whole different thing...

  17. Some REAL Philosophers here.. That's what's up

  18. Love is magic.

  19.  I have always loved this line...because when it happens...that's definitely how you feel.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    So what is better -when you are talking about the concept of love shared between people- not just the 'romantic' kind, by the way...
    To have loved and lost or never to have loved at all?
    I would go with the first...because I think that without experiencing that you aren't really alive...in the truest sense
    For the record, I'm now listening to that song with my morning coffee. The 90's were such an exciting time, shame how they turned out.
