What is it like in Colorado and Washington right now?

  1. So, I know in the past week or so the governor's of both states have signed marijuana into law officially. So...what's up with it? Can you currently use it legally? Are there any stores or companies in existence that sell it, yet?

  2. I'm not 21 so I definitely still can't legally use it, but I'm not sure if all the oldies can. But I do know there are definitely not stores yet

  3. Well I don't live in either of those states but what I herd so far is that no stores will be open to sell it for another year. Although in Colorado you can grow it but not buy in Washington they can't buy or grow but can smoke if they have. Both states are only allowing an ounce in possession.

  4. Here in washington near seattle were toking it up pretty hardcore with various bar's that have comeout and started advertising via word of mouth and internet for people to join thier clubs and come partake in thier favorite activities at the new potbars.

20 stores alone all lined up within 5 miles of eachother near where i live alone, seems like new ones are opening up all the time and i have not even heard anything but rumor's of them getting raided or shutdown, seems they new ones cropping up like starbucks like were the new california or something lol.

Alot of diffrent types of stores have been getting popular around here aswell like hempseed healthfood stores and hemp product's oil's,hash, lotions all that stuff cropping up like crazy.it was never here before period, before 5 years ago anyhow is when i noticed it was going legal.

Seriously it's like thier's hydroponic stores and crap popping up with diffrent types of product's all the fancy stuff you see on the internet..that's way new too

I hope it dosent get pushed back at all and only get's better from here and we get actual hemp legal to grow here.

  5. They definatly shouldn't be getting raided thanks to the new respect states and citizens rights act of 2012! America is becoming more and more progreen, I love it! Finally people are opening their eyes :)

  6. I'm in Washington. I still feel like I have to hide it. It may be legal. But I'm not running around telling all my friends, family and co-workers that I smoke weed. I'm not posting pictures of myself sucking a bong on Facebook. It can still get you fired from your job. But at least I don't have to worry about going to jail.

  7. So can a job still drug test for it even it is legal in your state?

How can you even call someone a friend if you have to hide your smoking from them?

Coworkers I can see. Family maybe, but friends? Must be more like acquaintances not friends.

It's illegal where I'm from and I don't hide it from anyone but cops and bosses.

    Yes! Why would that change?

It's up to each individual company if they want to test for weed or not. If a company says they don't want employes chewing gum, and they catch you with it they can fire you. It's up to them not the state.

  9. Yea, i wouldnt consider someone I have to hide smoking from a friend.

  10. I havent really noticed anything here.

    Business as usual..

We are still waiting to see how the Liquor Control Board is gonna dispense it though.

So even though the law is changed they arent going to start selling it to the public for at least a year (from what I read at least).

Once I can roll into a liquor store and see some variety Ill be impressed. Until then I am still getting my weed the same way I did before. :D

  11. It still feels the the exact same. The only thing I have noticed was the head shops appeared to have more business, other than that nothing too different.

  12. This is all great to hear. I just love seeing progress.
