Fortunately I've never had them. Use your search function for spider mites.........there will be plenty of threads that address this problem. Good luck.
Spider Mites are called the "Borg" for good reason. The little shits can double their population every few hours and it doesn't take them long to get totally out of hand. Spray Wait 3 days Spray again Wait 3 days Spray again. This is what it'll take to completely eradicate the little bastards. Spinosad is what I've used in he past. BNW
White dots are always spider mites or thrips. This one looks more like mites. I like using insecticidal soap if it's in the vegetation stage. Predator mites are good during flowering. You can usually get them at a local nursery.
More on insecticidal soaps- they are perfectly SAFE to use around kids and pets, since they are just soapy water. They can be easily rinsed off the next day with plain water and leave no nasty flavors like neem oil can. They smell WAY better than neem oil and most other pesticides. They kill by stripping of the bugs' waxy coating and the bugs die of dehydration. And they are cheap to use- a small bottle of Dr Bronner's Peppermint Soap is around $5 and will last through several uses! The only problem with them is that you have to do a good job of getting your plant wet, making sure to get the underside of the leaves. With small plants, I just make up a bucketful and dip the whole plant! (I use a piece of cardboard with a slit in it to hold in the soil.) How to Use Dr. Bronners As Insecticidal Soap.
