I just harvested on Saturday morning and its been drying upside down in the dark, temps mid 70 and RH between 40 and 65. When I picked up the plant calyx were all swollen and the top cola was as big as my forearm. Now its almost dry ready to jar tomorrow but buds looks like there is no calyx left at all!!! What happened? Buds are now small, loose with only air and pistils. I've waited to be sure to see a few amber before I chopped. It looked ripped to me. Is their any thing I can do / should have done or its just genetics? I swear they were swollen as hell here is harvest pics
Probably just the cure brother. Dry harvest will always be less then your initial harvest. Sorry. Those are some decent looking buds though!
So they've been drying for only 4 days now? By any chance do you have a fan blowing at the drying buds? Perhaps they're drying too fast? How do the actual buds feel to the touch?
Very sticky, dry to the touch on the outside, moist in the middle, branches can be bent without breaking.
I guess no(?) might have 3-4 days non consecutive where temps touch the 85 mark in afternoon but rest of time mostly 75-80. if its too hot please tell me so I can make it better next time!!
I thought I had so many flowers now i'm looking at a few ounces... guess I'll have to put some seeds to germinate asap.
no 75-80 is fine 85 not ideal but wouldnt cause airy buds if it wasnt constant the buds and plants look well grown maybe its genetics
Im no expert but i see a lot of white pistils still and it doesn't look as if the the ones that have browned off are receeded into your bud. Probably could've flowered a little longer to dense those up. Sent from my LG-SP320 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
