What is causing this to happen? (pics included)

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Dewz, Jun 23, 2018.

  1. Hi all - this is my first grow and is been about a month and a half. My autos are starting to get orange/brown spots on some of their leaves can anyone tell me what could be causing this? Am I over watering? Check out the pics below! I am here to answer any questions you may have. Thank you!

  3. It's not a magnesium problem - if anything it's a calcium problem. Please provide more info about your grow. Medium, feeding schedule, pH in and out, etc.

  4. I use fox farm happy frog potting soil (65-70%) mixed with perlite (30-35%). The pH level is between 6.8-7. For feeding I use fox farms big bloom and grow big. I add them to the water every other watering (roughly once every 8-9 days) and follow the instructions on the bottles for general use. My light is full spectrum LED 2400 watt it is about 2 feet above the highest point of my plants. I have a 4 inch intake and outtake fan as well as a 6 inch fan above my plants to keep air moving around.

Let me know if you need more info, not sure what else there is. Thanks for the replies all help is appreciated.

Do you think Cal-Mag would be a good solution?

  5. Cal mag will be available immediately to your plants. You could top dress or mix in some gypsum, lime, fish bone meal, etc to your next transplant to supply calcium as well. I agree with Mick though, it’s definitely calcium deficiency.

  6. Sure its not spillage? With the colored light its hard too tell.

  8. I don't think it's spillage. I've only checked the pH of the soil I will check after I mix my nutes next time.
