What if the flu season is caused by halloween tradition?

  1. When I was young, I would always get sick this time of year. At the time I didn't understand why, but obviously it was all the damn candy I ate that made me so sick. The massive amount of sugar I ate compromised my already under developed immune system and for the next week or so I'd be in my bed sick as fuck. My mom would always catch the shit I got too.
It happens that flu season is right after halloween, literally like 2 -3 days after halloween. What if the availability of candy in every household around this time is the cause for so much illness? Maybe not always the flu, but atleast causing colds and that sort of thing. Come Christmas and Easter stores are stocked up on 'holiday candy' which gets more people sick. I'm not against candy or anything but myself and others have a have a hard time dealing with the amount of candy that is just sitting there. It's good as fuck but only in moderation when it doesn't fuck you up a few days later.
Health is more important to me than a sugar high, I have weed for that.

  2. You'd have thought it would've been diabetes.
  3. I need to get a flu shot
  4. Yeah.. It's the candy.
    Seems legit.
  5. I reckon it's due to the change in weather this time of year
