What happens in the States for small possession?

    I don't know how many of yall saw the video I posted of me getting busted, but today I went to court (Canada) for it and got sentenced to 30 hours of community service with no criminal record, and this is the second time I have been charged with possession in my life (something similar happened last time too) so out of curiosity what ocures if you get busted in the States?

    Depends on the state, even the county and city. I, for example, can walk down the street smoking a J with no worries. Elsewhere, I might be afraid to do it in my own back yard.

    It depends how much you get busted with. I've heard of people going to jail for small amounts of herb in some states though. Also every state has it's own laws.

    In MN it's a 200$ fine for possession of under an oz. I think some community service too.

    it depends on state. the states that border crossing points and are close (texas, oklahoma, etc etc) have some crazy ass laws. in ohio anything less than 100 grams is just a fine
