what happens if you plant late?

  1. Will the plants die or will it just be a tiny yield?

  2. small yeild, i have started mine late aswell. i have 6 healthy plants at the moment only on their 3rd internode. but they still have about another 30 days till flowering starts so they should be fine. plus they will grow almost double their size by the end of harvesting.

shoulda waited until spring, the only reason im doing this is because it is my ONLY chance of gettin some pot.

  3. I started my grow at about the start of august (mostly for fun).
But now that I see my little sprouts are growing, I'm wondering what I can expect from these little puppies. They are about 2 inches tall atm, so should I expect any yield at all before the cold arrives?

  4. these were started late and started to flower soon after pulled a bit over a ounce a piece per plant which isnt bad for basically doing a outdoor SOG :)

  5. Im in the SE of Virginia, USA I might add.

That looks, and sounds wonderful, but how "late" were you, if you dont mind me asking.

  6. those were started mid July i do beleive they got on average 6 hours direct sun light everyday which helped them grow up pretty quickly that picture was taking in mid august and they was just starting to shoot off preflowers and begin to start the stretch in flower :)

  7. wow, thats great news.
Right now Im not exactly sure how much direct sunlight my babies are gettin. I'de be willing to guess at least a few good hours, I'm gonna have to check.
And once they start to look healthy enough, i gotta find a nice park to hide em in.

Thanks for the pic, and the glimpse of hope.

I got 9 Plants, hopefully a few females. Then maybe I can catch a early christmas present :)
I'll take and post some pics soon.

  8. i dont know, i never thought puttin them in a park was a good idea, even if you find a good spot, there are city workers and other people that might find them. even if you think you find a good spot in the park it probably isnt. i dont know many parks with areas no one goes atleast eaveryonce in a while. youd be better off finding and empty field like between housing developments and stuff like that.

  9. Is it realistic to get a pound, or even a half-pound, from each plant in an outdoor grow? Or are those just bullshit yields posted by seed sites?

  10. big plants and very fat short squat plants can easily get a half pound even up to 5 pounds, all you need is a big hole for them big roots and a early start month or two veg inside then put outside in the big hole and let them catch at least 6 hours of light a day and water and nute them well and boom they grow easily :D

  11. i thought this would make it hermie?

  12. i started mine in the window from when it broke till it was about a foot, then i moved it outside gradually, and my plants not a hermi, infact the other plants i had that were outside the whole time ended up male, and the one i had inside for a month and half was the only female. not sayin it made it female, just that its not a hermi.

edit- also i know people who grow inside then flower naturally outside and none became hermis, maybe the person was thinkin that cause the plant went from 80 degree indoors to 110 outdoors mid day and it stressed her

  13. what can i expect from this plant, she just started to flower, she is 6 feet tall and strching about 8 feet all around, I used HST method, High Stress Training

Do you think i will get over 1 pound? Is she going to grow 6 more feet?

  14. lol, I meant "park" as in just that.
We have a city park, but it is frequented too much.
Just hard to find a nice secluded wooded area these days, lots of development.

But I will keep trying :)

  15. enough with hijacking my thread

  16. I got 16.3 ounces from my best girl last year. Growing outside on my roof terrace.

  17. ^^^^ awsome

No bullshit there! I got 19 oz's off my sage plant. I vegged for 30 days indoors before it went in the ground.

  18. A funny story for you.
I worked large scale on the mountain one year my boss had the philosophy he called it " highgrading". Buy 4000 clones and only keep 2000 the best of the best . Because why care for weak plants.
Anyhow he told the other employee to kill all the remaining clones in 3 inch pots because if the pop team comes each on is considered a full plant in court.
He took them and hid them in the bushes he had hundreds of 3inch pots with maybe 5 to 8 inch plants . Each plant flowerd and bloomed he had over a pound and they finished super early because of there size. It was pretty cool. Boss was bent but the fact remains a plant will in fact flower and bloom no matter how tall it is if it's small and super late planted it will finish in less time meaning nature levels everything out
They will look like a bunch of top colas with no lateral growth maybe a little star bud her n there but a tiny plant will produce 1 solid nice cola no doubt about that

  19. A good grower usually gets 4 ounces per plant indoor at least . If you flip lights at about 1 to 1.2 foot tall.. I'm an outdoor guy so my math is diffrent

  20. No you will get hermi if you stress them out too much. Usually shining a light on them during dark period will do the trick. Streetlights in the park or flashlight ,open your grow room and let light in, pinholes in your depo cover .
But you caN keep your plant inside your living room like a all year Christmas tree on 18 hours light in a 50 or 80 gallon pot and pinch the shit out of it
Then drag it outside one spring drop it in a 500 gallon hole for pot and you will get scared at how massive it will get.
