It looks like its trying to grow a new branch maybe, idk but there are all kinds of plant mutations out there. I dont think its going to hurt anything, if i were you i would just let it be and see what it turns into. As for the other things, no those are not signs that its a female, all mj plants have those.
Now that i look at it again it kinda looks like a stamen or pistol. You know those things that stick out of flowers. Maybe your plants mom had sex with a with a flower and you have its bastard child!!! Just kidding, but it does look like a stamen or pistol to me.
