if u like to play online then i would recomend, bad company 2 i have red dead and it was f'ing amazing.
rdr is great, just a great overall game. which is surprisingly rare nowadays to have a great game thats not a major chain game.
3 completely different types of games. One of the reasons Red Dead is good is the free roam. Roll up a fatty and ride around on your horse, drag people around by rope, and so on. Lots to do to keep you busy. However the online is not anything great and after beating the story I couldn't find myself to go back to it. If you want something that won't get old for a while but isn't one of the games that you can play for hours then Madden. Good online, same old Madden really. They did add some lame features like auto-strafe/auto-sprint but they can be disabled. There's some other features that can and have been disabled by me lol. And if you gave MW2 a 4/10 then I can't see you liking Black Ops that much.
Red Dead Redemption is where it's at, homey "Climb upon my faithful steed! Then we gonna ride, gonna smoke some weed! Climb upon my big-ass steed, and ride, ride, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!" But yeah, nothing better than free roaming, killing some banditos (or marshals), bagging a grizzly or a cougar with your bare hands, all the while taking hits from the bong. If you're into zombie slaying, Dead Rising 2 is pretty balls to the wall. The online multiplayer feature "Terror is Reality" is a great way to make money in the game, plus since it's like a huge mass of mini-games, nothing aside from how much money you gain is affected. (If you're really into zombie slaying, Red Dead is getting a zombie pack later this month)
Madden 11 is a great game, sure a lot has changed. But I like the play calling style better in this one. Red Dead is a great game too. But the online play kinda sucks. But Black Ops since it's not out yet I have no idea, it looks fucking amazing according to the video released last month. So I say save your money for Black Ops, or buy Madden 11.
Red Dead def, although the multilayer isn't great the story is movie quality how all games should be imo.
Friend has pre ordered black ops and said i can borrow it. anytime. After the 1st day he gets it . Going to get Madden, I love football so going with madden, Thank you for your inputs everyone.
I don't play sports games, but: Red Dead Redemption- Do you like GTA games? It's made by the same people and essentially the same type of game, just a different(and MOAR AWESUM) environment. It's a badass game, especially if you dig free roam. BUT, if you're looking for a really good online game that will keep you interested, this is NOT the game. Don't get me wrong, the online multi player is fun if you have some buddies to play with and create a posse with. I found it boring. I really liked the campaign, though (= Black Ops- If you really like FPS games, this is def. a good choice. I have COD modern warfare 2 and I love it dearly. I don't know exactly what Black Ops will be like, but if I had to pick between the two, I'd pick Black Ops. But, I loove FPS games and I love games where I have a lot to do to fully complete the game(get all weapons, attachments, acheivements, etc). I haven't read up on any articles, videos, pictures, etc for BO(lol), but maybe check that out at IGN(or wherever) and see what you think (=
