im just wondering what type of pets people have here? i keep many differant animals myself. im going to look for pics now
I used to have a few exotic animals as pets. Not anymore since I work too much and go out too much. Ferrets, wolves (hybrid), snapper turtles, fly river turtle (rare), rare fish, assortment of odd lizards, and almost bought a desert penguin (brown kind, not tux kind you see at the zoo). Now I still have my snapper turtle and some fish.
4 mantids i have a lot of other pets but those are the most exotic, if you dont count tarantulas the most exotic ive ever had i think would be quails they were pretty kickass
keeping exotic animals is wrong. end. get a dog or a cat. when people have tigers in their backyard or monkeys in their house it makes me a sad panda
fly river turtle budder? right on! i used to have 2 of those. i have toned down my collection due to the same reasons. i still have a mata mata. albino red ear. snapper. blue pits. tree spiders. tortoises. haha. i plan on getting a sting ray within the next week
All I got is a Green Iguana which isnt even really exotic, plus he eats my weed when im not paying attention which gets very old very fast. -Used to have TONS of snakes and other lizards tho but been busy lately Royal Pythons, Red tailed boa, Albino corn snake, regular corn snakes,Kenyan Sand Boa, Tokay Gecko, Water Dragons, Bearded Dragons, more iguanas, Rat snakes, lots more that I cant think of right now... Btw isnt a quail the birds that hunters shot alot?
Yep fly rivers are so cool. Back when they were first imported, I picked up a few for about $150 each and they were the size of oreo cookies. Now you can't find them for under $500 (cali) and they are big now because no one imports them.
yeah funny i have the same story. lol. i bought a few fly rivers out of some dudes car hold. i paid 200 i think,i dunno. it was in so.cal. i contacted a few people i sold them to and the guys that still had em are asking 400-500ish and theyre about a foot long now. lame. ive been looking real hard for a baby. found one last month but it was 900 bucks
qft. plus i can imagine having an exotic animal to feel pleasant dude who had the monkey, did it make a good pet? i've always wanted one
