What exactly is the difference between delta 9 THC and the real stuff?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by yun444g, Oct 3, 2022.

  1. So I live in Indiana and have been able to buy delta 9 gummies legally. However, obviously weed is not legal for recreational use in IN so I'm curious how exactly D9 gummies differ from "real" THC gummies, if that's a thing? Or are most gummies already D8, D9, or D10 and it's just smoking that's illegal? I'm confused. lmao

  3. So....Delta 8 is more or less CBD??? I've been vaping Delta 8 for over a month now and my arthritis pain has improved a lot!! I live in a Red state now so I guess I will still vote blue. One of our candidates, who is running for Senator, is an advocate for cannabis. A commercial showed him smoking a joint!! I'm voting for him.

  4. Delta-9 THC is the same compound whether it's from hemp or cannabis. The difference is legality and source. Hemp-derived Delta-9 is legal under federal law if under 0.3% by dry weight.

  5. When you harvest and process marijuana, there are a variety of THC/CBD in it. That's the different 'delta's' as I understand it. Some are strong and some aren't. Here in GA there is a limit of .3% of THC in any gummies.

  6. the plant too makes acidic forms of those on the plant meaning THC comes as THCA , CBD is created as CBDA and so on so forth ... those acidic forms need decarboxylation in order to become non acidic form cannabinoids . when looking on the COA in the places selling weed it is mostly less than .3% THC on those flowers for sale
