What does Private Reserve Mean?

  1. I see alot of menus say P.R. or Private Reserve what does that mean?

    Just another racket to make cheap things like food and wine taste better. Same goes for "spring water" if you are given tap water but you believe it's spring water, chances are it's going to taste good to you.

  8. supposley fine whiskies or alcohol that is made over a longer period of time is called reserved..but yea a reason to charge more...although it does cost a business money for storing inventory
