What does m2 mean?

  1. When I'm looking at seeds, it sometimes says m2 after the yield... like Yield: 500g/m2. What does that mean?

  2. Meters squared, meaning if you use a SoG set up (sea of green) the yield of one square meter will be around 500g. You'd be forgiven for thinking the breeders exaggerate that number, but its a good way to compare yield between different strains.

  3. Exactly true. However, most breeders do not exaggerate their yields, only the resellers. Remember, the breeders are using the very best equipment that money can buy, and have these strains dialed in b/c they breed them, so given they use the best equipment, grow under the very best conditions, and know the strains inside out, they will get maximum yields.
