What does it mean when my weed doesnt smell?

    I would assume this question has been asked and answered in the past, so if it has i apologize.
    This is my dads weed, hes a mmj smoker, but sometimes he gives me some for my sciatica, and most of the time his weed is amazing, but this weed he gave me the other day (which i havent tried yet) is unusual, it doesnt have a smell at all, it looks good and all, but smells like nothing.
    So my question is; is it bad if there is no smell? Does it mean anything?

    I guess some strains just dont have a smell ive had my friend grow some that barely had any smell when it came time to harvest

    It means that particular plant didn't have very smelly genetics.

    Maybe its been left out of the bag or jar.usualy after the 6th day and my stash gets low it dosent smell as dank as it did before.

    Some strains have a very strong smell, some don't. The smell doesn't effect the potency of the bud though.
