Wondering what do you guys use to tie plants down? I like string but it's too small for me the use string now I wanna hear other ideas.

Right now just have this peice of metal I bent at the top but it doesn't really stay in the soil well.

  2. I bought some plant ties just because it made sense lol i havnt grown myself since this will be my fisrt grow but i would think that you can use plant ties and stick them in the soil.

  3. I use an adjustable zip tie around the base of my pot, then I use rubber bands of various sizes, the rubber bands have felt wraps that are attached to the end that get looped to the plant, then I pull the rubber bands with the s clip that is on the other end of the rubber band that gets hooked to my anchoring adjustable zip tie. I buy them at my local feed store, they call them Quick Plant Training Loops. I have not ever seen them sold anywhere else, maybe I need to find out who makes them and sell them online because it sure beats re-twisting and re-tying every time I want to move a branch in different direction.

  4. 'Natural' undyed paracord, because I buy it by the 1000' roll for making wicks for SIPs, among other things. I also love using bonsai wire.

  5. I use yarn tied to clothes pins. I tie unto itself, and clip down on pot. Later I unpin, and repin up to hold buds as they swell. I hope this helps

  6. Hemp twine, safety pins, fabric pots.

  7. I've drilled small holes on the top of my pots and used zip ties.
