maybe you should ask her if she'd be willing to go halves with you on like a big amount...that way you both pay for it... you can get it and get money for it...and if she wants to smoke again...let her use her own stuff...

i agree that she's being ridiculous by not acknowledging the fact that you are taking the risk, and therefore should be in charge of when and how much you smoke...

It seems she just needs to grow up a bit. Give it some time, i'm sure she will come around eventually. There aren't too many people out there that would continuously smoke others out for free. Things tend to work out

 

She has the right to say something when she puts in some money for the green...or brings the device.

 

Yeah, that's kinda the reason I don't really smoke with chicks that often. Around here that's what they all do. They always want to smoke but never want to pay for anything.

 

She'll start craving it, and she's start mooching off of other people and realize they're doing the same thing you're doing (the right thing) and she'll go back to you since you've been smoking with her the longest and she'll apologize. It'll all be good. "The universe has a way of unfolding."

 

I think it sounds like she just doesn't quite understand the nature of the situation. It seems like to her, weed is kind of a like a bag of potato chips... I mean, you'd think nothing of it if someone asked you to pass the bag of chips or something like that. The expense and risk might not occur to her, or she might not even really be that aware of it. For her everything but the actual smoking might be hidden; while it's apparent to you it might not be to her.

 

Yes... and yes. You're right to want to protect yourself from being used, but to tell your best friend who you love to death that you're not going to smoke with her until she grows up is giving an ultimatum without a clear option. 'Until she grows up' is so ambiguous a goal. When is she going to be grown up enough to smoke with you? I think a better goal would be 'until she shows up with her own stash'. It's clear. It's concise. It fits the offense.

 

Is she new to smoking? If she doesn't understand the risks involved or how much it can cost, then you've gotta clue her in. And if she's not hitting it right you have to school her, give her a makeup class of stoner 101(wheres that stoner "made" episode spoof?).

After that you'd think she'd be happy to split a sack with you, or smoke you out, if she's your bestfriend.
