This is my first grow. Just wondering how they are looking. Pics attached. They are about a month into veg so theyre looking a bit premature. I think its because i need to transplant into a bigger pot which i will do as soon as my ffof is shipped. I have nutes but gave them too much for their first feeding and have been flushing for the past 2 weeks. So their small size may also be due to he fact that they havent had a good feeding yet? What do you guys think?
There both fighting for space in that soil as well as for nutrients and water. I would transplant into separate pots if the roots aren't already tangled together. I'm no expert though, just my opinion.
Transplant, and dont give them any nutrients for the FIRST MONTH with ffof.
A month? Man, my plants start gettin mad at me when I push em to 3 weeks with only ffof soil..
To me these plants look a little stretchy but its my first time so idk. They are only about 10 inches in height. I realize having them in 1 pot is not good but i plan on transplanting soon.
2plants + 1pot = NO
False, I've vegged and flowers two plants in one pot perfectly fine!
False, I've vegged and flowers two plants in one pot perfectly fine!
Although you can, you definitely shouldn't
Although you can, you definitely shouldn't
Some of the best growers on here do it....just because a book says not to do it....I say they work out fine from personal experience and more experiences growers experiences...soooo believe what you read or what you do

Again you can do it, but there's no good reason to...
Well, if I had 2 plants grow in one pot I'd want double the space. So just as much water needed to saturate the soil, price of a bigger pot, and same amount of soil. Even with a larger pot roots will be fighting for space and nutrients. If one plant is weaker or less resilient then how would you decrease nutrient intake to the plant without decreasing nutes for the other to enure full potential? What if one turns out male? IMO there are various advantages to one plant per pot and no distinct advantage to multiple plants per pot

If one dies it dies...if one turns out male you cut it like usual...

If it it dies or turns out male and you need to cut it down then your other plant will either be stunted, or hermied. To everyone their own, if it works for you, power to it. But, I wouldn't recommend a beginner to do so
Why would killing plant 2 stunt or shock plant 1....
Well you either leave the dead roots or seperate the two. Wasting space or stunting the plant are the options it seems. I feel I could easily make up for two plants with a single plant with a pot to itself, especially if it was the same size container. Again, it's just not something I would recommend to a beginner
Thanks alot for the input. But again i am not concerned as far as the potting issue goes, i will take care of that once i order my soil. I am more concerned with the overall health of the plant. They are about 10-12 inches in height. Seems a bit stretchy.
