I was just thinking about this over a fat bowl.. Look at the 90's, 2000-2010, and you can see how unique they were in their own right. Music, culture, politics, trends, beliefs..and not to mention inventions. In the year 2000 I hadn't the slightest clue what an iPad was. I mean obviously, but hopefully someone gets what I'm trying to say. What do you think 2011-2020 will bring us? I'm looking for some honest opinions or ideas.
This is going to be a clusterfuck of everything of the past(styles, trends) and progressive movements towards future happenings.
Computers are at a point where there isn't a hell of a lot more we can do with them but lower the prices, but there will be further advances. With Steve Jobs gone, we're going to see Apple thrown back to the '90s. With any hope, a new form of rock music will emerge and all the rap/hiphop/dubstep music will go into the background. These are just my hopes and predictions though. The Apple one will happen though, mark my words. Without the cult figurehead, they're fucked.
Well, it's been observed trends cycle about every 30 years (give or take a decade depending on war/disaster/ect.) So mabye well see something similar to the 60s-70s (pray to god we don't see something similar to the 80s), but in kind of a unique way and unfortunately a more self entitled society.
I beg to differ, just reading about some of the things that are being/ in the process of being invented blows my mind.
Very cool technology, a lot more news and violence. Everyone's going to (if they already don't) have cameras all the time, so there will be tonnes of insane shit filmed. A fair bit of natural disasters, possibly more than usual I feel. Hmmm, music-wise I'm not too sure, I don't listen to mainstream. Really depends on what the generation of kids like. I hope drug-related stuff will ease over this decade, possibly some major major movements. Umm, but here in Australia people say we're always 5 years behind America in some aspects, but I guess nothing really happens here in Australia. Overall, I'm very interested in this decade that follows Population growth is going to get fucking crazy.
technology is getting insane! an awesome documentary to watch especially when baked is The Transcendent.. look it up. it's sickk. i can't wait until our technology advances to the point where things that seem impossible now become simple.
Yeah I mentioned last decade was 2000-2010. So to me it would sound weird if I started the next one off with 2010, ya know? But I like these predictions guys. Especially the one that mentioned how more crazy shit will get filmed because more people will have cameras on them...because that's definitely true.
Alot more socialism, and very minor advances in technology. I honestly don't think we will see any kind of amazing new technology in this decade. I also think the generations of kids now in the USA, will grow up to have a amazingly large percentage of complete idiots, failures, basket-cases, and sickly kids, both mentally and physically. Its been quite a while now that we have been fucking up the gene pool, and the masses of idiotic parents shoving horrible psychiatric drugs down there kids throats for ridiculous reasons, is obviously not helping. And another contributing factor, is kids are getting into recreational drugs at very young ages, 13 year olds should not be getting drunk, smoking weed, and getting high off there prescription amphetamines, which are perfectly ok because there "medicine". Yet again another contributing factor is how the media and older peers quietly indoctrinate kids into believing there only "cool" if they act like fucking retards. Get ready for some ubeilavably stupid generations of people, that are solely reliant on the conveniences of the future, and hand-outs. Just one more thing, I predict a abnormally large amount of natural disasters for this decade.
Everythin ur seeing now and then but to the extreme. Example: extreme "gangsters" , extreme sluts, extreme nuns lmao
