been unmarried with the same woman for 13 years. The reason? I hope to hell this thing lasts, but I know people change, including me, and I've seen enough fail to know that even the ones you think will never fail do. Many, many unknowns are ahead of you in a relationship. The hassles of divorce and the possibility of not being able to leave because of them are not worth it for me. I also believe people put in less effort (in general) after getting married. we're always on our toes. Our relationship is a good one, but there have been 2 instances where I seriously contemplated leaving and I will tell you that it was really not worrying abot getting a lawyer and being able to make a clean getaway if need be.
